March 25, 2026 – Los Angeles, CA – Singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist Alejandro Aranda has announced plans to head out on the Hondo World Tour this summer. The run begins June 4 in Chicago and spans two legs, with scheduled stops in cities including Toronto, New York, Philadelphia, Vancouver, Denver, Los Angeles, and more along the way.
Tickets will be available to the general public starting Friday, March 27 at 10 a.m. local time. Additional details can be found at hondoworld.com.
Speaking about the tour, Aranda described it as a turning point in his creative journey, blending intimacy with scale. He emphasized that the live experience will move fluidly across styles, incorporating elements of pop, classical, folk, and jazz to create a dynamic and immersive performance.
Alongside the tour news, Aranda has also unveiled a new single titled “Queen,” currently available exclusively on Bandcamp. Fans can stream or purchase the track ahead of its official release on April 6, as well as watch the accompanying music video online. The song leans into a more classical-inspired direction, combining delicate arpeggios with contemporary influences to create a sound that feels transportive and distinct.
Originally from Pomona, California, Aranda has built a reputation for crossing genre boundaries with ease. His music blends folk, pop, and experimental rock with layered melodies and detailed instrumentation, often anchored by his intricate fingerstyle guitar work and expressive vocals. Each release reflects a willingness to explore new ideas, resulting in a catalog that continually evolves.
Aranda first gained national attention on American Idol, where he stood out for performing original material throughout the competition—an uncommon feat. His artistry and musicianship earned him a place in the finale, where he finished as runner-up.
Since then, he has continued to tour internationally and expand his discography, including the release of his 2025 album Farewell Superstar. Beyond his solo work, Aranda is also involved in the metal project Seven Hours After Violet, collaborating with musicians such as Shavo Odadjian, Taylor Barber, and members of Winds of Plague.
