Bike Routes Makes Stop in Arizona

Adrianna Peralta

Bike Routes kicked off the night at Rebel Lounge with a set that felt loose in the best way—like you were watching a band settle into their sound in real time and invite everyone along for it. From the first song, they leaned into shimmering guitar lines and tight rhythms that gave their songs a sense of forward motion without ever feeling rushed.

What stood out most was their balance between polish and rawness. The vocals carried a kind of understated urgency, never overreaching but still cutting through the room. There were moments where the melodies lingered just long enough to sink in, especially during the more introspective tracks, before giving way to brighter, more upbeat sections.

The crowd, still filtering in at the start, gradually locked in as the set went on. By the midpoint, there was a noticeable shift—heads nodding, people edging closer to the stage, conversations fading into the background. Bike Routes seemed to feed off that energy, tightening their transitions and leaning harder into the dynamics of each song.

They didn’t rely on flashy moments or big gestures. Instead, their strength came from cohesion and tone, creating a set that felt thoughtful and intentional without being rigid. As an opener for Worry Club, they set the mood perfectly—grounded, engaging, and just the right amount of restless.
