Gov’t Mule and Ziggy Marley Announce Dreaming The Same Dream Tour

May 29, 2026 — Gov’t Mule, led by GRAMMY-winning guitarist and vocalist Warren Haynes, and nine-time GRAMMY Award winner Ziggy Marley have announced the Dreaming The Same Dream Tour, a 16-date co-headlining run set for this fall. The tour also features DJ and vocalist Yola as a special guest, bringing an additional layer of genre-crossing energy to the bill.

The tour marks a long-anticipated reunion between Haynes and Marley, who previously collaborated on the song “Dreaming the Same Dream,” featured on the Warren Haynes Band’s 2012 album Live at the Moody Theater—the inspiration behind the tour’s title.

The run begins September 23 in New York City at The Rooftop at Pier 17 before heading south through Asheville, North Carolina, and multiple stops across Florida, including Key West, Hollywood, St. Augustine, Clearwater, Fort Myers, and Tallahassee. From there, the tour continues through Atlanta and other cities before concluding with four Texas dates in Sugar Land, San Antonio, Austin, and Dallas, where the final show takes place on October 17.

Artist presales begin June 3, followed by local presales on June 4, with general on-sale opening June 5. VIP packages will also be available, including immersive fan experiences such as the Ultimate Guitar Player Package and newly curated Dreaming Out Loud and Traveling Tune offerings. A portion of ticket proceeds—$2 per ticket—will benefit Food For The Poor Jamaica, supporting relief and rebuilding efforts in the aftermath of Hurricane Melissa.

Haynes describes the upcoming collaboration as a long time coming:

"I’m really looking forward to the tour with Ziggy Marley. We’ve known each other a long time and shared the stage a few times, but never done a full tour together. There’s a real overlap between our audiences, but also a chance for discovery—Mule fans hearing Ziggy in a new way, and Ziggy fans experiencing Gov’t Mule for the first time."

Marley adds:

"It’s going to be a great jam session touring with Warren and the band. I’m looking forward to the vibes."

Yola, who will appear as DJ and MC throughout the tour, also reflected on the opportunity:

"I’m honored to join Gov’t Mule and Ziggy Marley on this run. DJing is part of my musical foundation—where I come from, it’s deeply tied to culture and storytelling. Being able to bring that side of myself into this tour feels like a full-circle moment."

Ahead of the fall dates, Gov’t Mule will remain on the road this summer with their Kicking In Your Stall Tour and co-headlining shows alongside blues-rock artist Joe Bonamassa. The band’s most recent studio album, Peace…Like A River (2023), continues to anchor their live set, while Warren Haynes has remained active across multiple solo and archival projects, including Million Voices Whisper (2024), The Whisper Sessions (2025), and an upcoming symphonic release recorded in Asheville.

Ziggy Marley, meanwhile, recently released his ninth studio album Brightside, his first in eight years. Co-produced with his brother Stephen Marley and featuring collaborators such as Big Boi, Nikka Costa, Trombone Shorty, Sheila E., and Jake Shimabukuro, the record reflects a wide-ranging creative approach rooted in collaboration and legacy. Marley is also currently on his own North American Brightside Tour, which includes major venues such as the Hollywood Bowl and Red Rocks Amphitheatre, alongside a recent partnership with Waze that brings his voice to in-app navigation recordings.

With Dreaming The Same Dream Tour, Gov’t Mule and Ziggy Marley bring together two distinct musical worlds—blues-rock improvisation and reggae’s expansive spirit—into a shared live experience built on collaboration, exploration, and connection.
