Little Stranger in San Diego

Kate Armenta

Little Stranger on the west coast leg of their Broken Hearted Boys Tour made a stop in Del Mar with Jarv, Damn Skippy and Tropidelic. The high energy night kicked off as Jarv and Damn Skippy spit beats on stage at the Sound while the crowd filled the venue for the night. Tropidelic made their way on stage next and delivered some absolute bangers that really had the crowd hyped and set the tone for the main set. Little Stranger mixed up the final set of the night with songs like ‘Way of the Ghost’’ that really had the crowd hopping and singing along, then would throw in a complete acoustic jam by John Shields that would mellow the room.

The full set by Little Stranger included hits, ‘Coffee & a Joint’, and ‘Kama Sumatra’ - just a couple of the songs that the audience loved - among so many others that kept the energy level in the building on full send. Then the shirts started to come off as it was just way too hot on stage, and it became a requirement that if you were on stage, you weren't doing it with your shirt on. The audience was one hundred percent on board with this move as the shirts also started coming off in the crowd as well. Little Stranger promised to deliver an out of the world performance in San Diego and they certainly met the mark.
